01 · Basics

What is FOMO, and what is copytrading?

FOMO (fomo.family) is a social memecoin trading app. Every trade lands on a public feed and leaderboard.

Copytrading mirrors another trader's buys and sells in your own wallet, at a size you choose, within seconds.

Choosing a trader worth copying

The trader matters more than the tool. On the leaderboard, look for:

01

Steady PnL

Realized gains over a month or more, not one lucky 100×.

02

Lots of trades

Hundreds of trades with a steady win rate, not a dozen.

03

Holds you can follow

Minutes to hours, not seconds. Fast flips are hard to copy at the same price.

02 · Tools

Tools to automate copytrading FOMO wallets

FOMO can't copy trades itself. For hands-off copying, it comes down to CopyFomo or Dawn.

CopyFomo vs Dawn: speed, fees, features and security

Both run in Telegram and copy entries and exits. Here's how they compare on speed, features, security and fees.

Speed: which bot copies first

How we tested

September 2026
  1. 5 separate tests

A different FOMO trader's wallet each time

  2. Same trader

Dawn and CopyFomo followed the same wallet

  3. Both armed before the trade

Dawn and CopyFomo were both following the same FOMO trader before each test trade occurred.

  4. First confirmed execution wins

We recorded which bot's copied transaction confirmed first after the trader's transaction.

Tests run in September 2026 across five separate FOMO traders. Network conditions, token liquidity and routing vary, so these results describe these five tests rather than guaranteeing future execution speed.

  1. 1

    Step 01 / 12

Start @DawnTradeBot and fund your balance

Send /start to @DawnTradeBot, tap Deposit and send USDC or any supported token. Dawn turns it into one USDC balance that trades on every chain.

Dawn's main menu after sending /start
  2. 2

    Step 02 / 12

Open Copytrade and tap Follow a Trader

Tap Copytrade, then + Follow a Trader. You can run up to 50 tasks per wallet.

Dawn's Copytrade screen with the Follow a Trader button

Part 2/3Set up the copy

  1. 3

    Step 03 / 12

    Paste the FOMO trader

Paste their FOMO @handle, fomo.family link or a wallet address. Given a handle, Dawn finds every wallet behind it and copies each chain they trade on.

Dawn Copytrade step 1 of 8: paste a wallet address, fomo handle or fomo.family link
  2. 4

    Step 04 / 12

    Name the task

Keep the handle, or type your own name (1–24 characters).

Dawn Copytrade step 2 of 8: name your task
  3. 5

    Step 05 / 12

    Choose a buy amount

Pick a fixed amount per copy ($1–$50, or custom), or a % of the trader's buy from 1% to 500% with a cap.

Tip: Start at $5–$10 to see how your fills compare.

Dawn Copytrade step 3 of 8: buy amount presets and % of the leader's buy
  4. 6

    Step 06 / 12

    Copy buys and sells

Buys + Sells mirrors the trader's exits. Buys Only leaves them to you. Pick Buys + Sells: the edge is usually in when they sell.

Dawn Copytrade step 4 of 8: Buys Only or Buys + Sells
  5. 7

    Step 07 / 12

    Set slippage

How far price can move before a copy is refused. 15% suits most memecoins. Raise it if copies keep failing.

    Dawn Copytrade step 5 of 8: slippage 10%, 15%, 20% or 30%
  6. 8

    Step 08 / 12

    Add a stop loss

Sell everything if price drops this far below entry (-10% to -50%, or custom). Set one on any task you won't watch.

Dawn Copytrade step 6 of 8: stop loss presets
  7. 9

    Step 09 / 12

    Add a take profit

Sell everything at this gain (+50% to +500%, or a multiple like 2x). Skip it to ride the trader's own exits.

Dawn Copytrade step 7 of 8: take profit presets
  8. 10

    Step 10 / 12

    Set a minimum market cap

Skip tokens below this size ($50K–$1M, or custom). Thin new coins are where copies lose most to slippage. More filters live on the task page.

Dawn Copytrade step 8 of 8: minimum market cap filter

Part 3/3Go live

  1. 11

    Step 11 / 12

    Review and create the task

Check every setting on one screen and tap Create task. You can edit anything later.

  2. 12

    Step 12 / 12

    Watch it run

The task page shows status, the trader's wallets, your size and live PnL. Pause stops new copies but keeps your positions.

Tip: Check weekly. Pause any trader whose realized PnL stalls.

05 · FAQ

Common questions

01

What is CopyFomo?

A Telegram bot and Chrome extension (copyfomo.com) for copying FOMO traders. It says copies land about a second after the trader's fill. It isn't affiliated with this site.

02

Is Dawn better than CopyFomo for copying FOMO traders?

In our testing, Dawn executed first in all five tests. It also offers MEV protection on Solana, more token filters (liquidity, volume, holders, token age) and published fees with cashback. CopyFomo is focused specifically on copying FOMO wallets and also has a stop loss and take profit. Costs can differ depending on trade size and applicable fees.

03

Do I need the trader's wallet address?

No. Paste their FOMO @handle or profile link and Dawn finds the wallets. Raw addresses work too.

04

What's the cheapest way to copytrade FOMO?

It depends on trade size. Dawn charges 1% with a $0.35 minimum, about $0.26 on a $25 copy after entry-tier cashback. CopyFomo doesn't publish its fee; a third-party review reports FOMO's swap fee at about 0.5% with a ≈$0.95 minimum. Dawn's minimum is lower on small copies, but its 1% rate can cost more on larger ones.

05

Is copy trading FOMO wallets profitable?

Copy trading doesn't guarantee a profit. In a DWF Ventures analysis of roughly 292,000 FOMO wallets, reported in August 2026, 6.16% showed a profit based on realized gains over the previous three months. Copied results can also differ from the trader's because of latency, slippage, token liquidity, fees and execution price. Only trade what you can afford to lose.

06

How are Dawn wallets secured?

Dawn uses Privy wallet infrastructure. You can export any wallet's private key at any time, and optional 2FA (authenticator app, passkey or SMS) adds a check on sends, withdrawals and key exports.
